However, I have to say I do not like the method to her recipe. It failed miserably when I did it her way. The taste was great, but they weren't what crescent rolls should be. This time, ah ha, this time I made them Alton Brown's way. I combined all wet ingredients (after letting the yeast bloom of course) with the sugar and dried milk. I combined flour and salt then cut in the butter. I folded the two together and left it to rise for an hour.
Rolled out the whole thing, cut, rolled into crescents and let rise again for an hour. They are wonderful. I've made them twice and they have been gone by the end of the day. The girls devoured them (and I will admit I have eaten too many this week). Recipe here.
