Shower for the Monkey

I'm so glad I didn't end up in labor yesterday. I would have missed the other half of Thanksgiving. My sisters surprised me with a baby shower. They even incorporated my blog into the theme :) Capuchin got some really cute outfits!  A shout out and big thank you to my sisters for being so sweet!

They asked me if I wanted a shower a few weeks ago. I didn't feel like we needed anything and told them a get together would be fun, but we didn't have any needs. I saved everything from my other girls so we're set. Looking at the new stuff side by side with my well loved stuff I'm happy they did it anyway. Now I just need to get ahead enough on my laundry to get the new stuff washed :p

One thing she got that I had never seen before was this:

This is the kind of pacifier we used with my other girls, but I've never seen it with a critter attached to it. How smart!! I cannot tell you how many times in the middle of the night Chris and I would both be on our hands and knees trying to find the blasted pacifier for Tamarin!! (Lemur and Howler to a lesser extent. Tamarin was my binkie kid.) I'd imagine it helps them as they get bigger to grab it and stick it in their own mouth. This is one of those cases where I'm saying, "Why didn't I think of that??"
