It's Cold Outside!

Everything outside is frozen. There's a beautiful frost over the trees and grass. I need to take pictures... if only I could find my camera...... Yet again, the breaker for our heater tripped a few times last night. It's cold, so the first thing I do is turn on my oven. I had no idea what was going to go in it, but it NEEDED to be on. Started with some canned crescent rolls that had been rolling around the fridge for a while (fat free, hence why they never got used, always be VERY specific when sending spouse to grocery store).

These are awesome! The girls even like to eat them without chocolate chips or icing. However, I ran into every baker's worst nightmare. I only had two cups of sugar. Fortunately I did have brown sugar, so I made due. I am now faced with two choices, wait until Chris is on his way home and send him to the store (I remind you about the crescent roll issue above) or load up everyone in this below freezing weather and go to the grocery store.

With 40 minutes to kill until the bars were done I found my way back to pinterest.

Ummmm.... okay..... no more time to blog.... I need to get everyone bundled and head to the store......
