An Old Fashioned Porch Raising

Perhaps even better than a barn, a beautiful front porch. First find yourself someone that can think in, under, over, and outside the box.

In this case it's my dad with the help of my husband. He's been talking about a porch since we bought this place. I think it's one of those things he truly enjoys. It was fun having to jump in and out of my house for a few days, but it was nice to have a floor finally.

 On goes the roof. Add rocking chairs (they couldn't wait for the whole roof to be on).

It's a great view, can't wait to sip morning tea while checking email in my rocking chair :)
