Little House on the Prairie

I picked up this house about two years ago at a garage sale for $5. It was missing a shudder and had two holes in the roof. It was incredibly sun faded, but for that price if they played with it for a couple of months and we threw it out, it would have still been money well spent.

I seriously thought about trashing it when we moved. I intended to, but someone helping us ended up loading it anyway. Meh, I'll trash it later, I thought.

Then I saw this on pinterest. Which put me to thinking..... I could do that.... but our cozy coop still looks new.... dang it.... But it got me to thinking about our crappy little house on the prairie which had still managed to avoid the trash heap.

Five cans of Valspar Plastic Spray Paint later and.....

Voila! Our new little house on the prairie :) It was so easy, just a cheap $2 plastic drop cloth and two coats of the paint. Now I just have to bide my time till the cozy coop needs a paint job.....
